New Dark Elf tournament list

So, first off, If people are trying to post comments and they aren't working I apologize. I haven't changed the comment options from the standard and they were working a few days ago. The only change was to not have them email me the comments when they are posted, mainly for the fact that I didn't want my phone to keep blinking at every comment post.

That out of the way, With a recent deal on ebay bringing my dark rider count from one unit to three, I have been working on a 2500 point tournament type list.

I want to get people's opinion on it.

That being said, here's the list.

Deployment Tactics:
The way I see this going is as follows. I am hoping that with my 3 dark rider and my harpy drops I will have a good indication as to where their main battle lines are going to be, causing me to line up the match ups to what I want. After that, the harpies and dark riders will be used as war machine hunters, chaff hunters, flee redirectors and sacrificial lambs for all these death stars and huge monsters running around the battlefield these days.

Magic Tactics:
Death magic because anything less would be uncivilized in a world where your general and bsb are important. A lot of people will question why not shadow on the level 4 and why it's on the level 2. To me, shadow is more of a support magic with decent range. Off the top of my head, the minimal range of all the spells is 24" and even then they can be boosted. Range of the repeater xbows is, you guessed it 24". With most opponents wanting to stop the death magic snipes and of course, Doom and darkness and my favorite spell, soulblight, This will give me free range to throw some of the hex's from shadow when I need to, example, withering on a unit that I am about to shoot the hell out of with the repeaters.

Other Tactics:
My 3 combat blocks are the knights, the black guard, and the "bunker". Repeaters can also form a combat block if needed and of course, I have the OP hydra. With the dark riders and harpies redirecting units for stuff that I don't want to fight while picking them off with either shooting or magic. This Free's up the combat blocks for charges against the *hopefully* Ideal match ups.
Some tricks are to accept challenges against high strength power houses with my level 4 and laugh as I roll nothing but 6's(which auto fail the pendant save) 


Inherent Weaknesses

Other than the obvious Toughness 3, The lack of armor is a problem. The average save in my army is a 5+ and not a ward save at that.
I do not run a cauldron due to personal preference, that and I can't make a 4+ ward save to save my life.This limit's the uber buffs that the cauldron provides.
Not a lot of high strength attacks out side of mindrazor..Meaning when coming up against high armor, high toughness mobs I am virtually screwed.. Solution: Redirectors!

So, what do you all think of the army. What changes would you make in it, and how do you think it would do in a major tournament.
